Summary:

Join as an Academy Director and lead a group of academies to ensure strong educational outcomes for all pupils.

The Opportunity:

As an Academy Director, you will lead and support a group of 8-12 academies across primary and secondary phases, ensuring high standards of education and strong pupil outcomes. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced leader to make a transformative impact within a well-respected and growing educational organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, challenge and support Principals across your cluster to drive academic excellence.
  • Work closely with the Chief Executive and Trust executives to achieve strategic goals.
  • Ensure the implementation of the International Baccalaureate curriculum across all phases.
  • Promote and support the Trust’s digital strategy and small school approach to education.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the Trust.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of academies within your cluster.
  • Foster a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with the Trust’s values and safeguarding policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as a Principal or Executive Principal in primary and/or secondary education.
  • Demonstrated success in raising pupil attainment and improving educational outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of all phases of education from age 3 to 19.
  • Commitment to the International Baccalaureate curriculum.
  • Experience in working within a multi-academy trust or similar organization.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with digital learning strategies and technologies.
  • Background in cross-phase leadership or collaboration.
  • Familiarity with the Vision 2030 framework and its goals.
  • Experience in managing large-scale educational initiatives.
