The Opportunity:
As an Academy Director, you will lead and support a group of 8-12 academies across primary and secondary phases, ensuring high standards of education and strong pupil outcomes. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced leader to make a transformative impact within a well-respected and growing educational organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, challenge and support Principals across your cluster to drive academic excellence.
- Work closely with the Chief Executive and Trust executives to achieve strategic goals.
- Ensure the implementation of the International Baccalaureate curriculum across all phases.
- Promote and support the Trust’s digital strategy and small school approach to education.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the Trust.
- Monitor and report on the performance of academies within your cluster.
- Foster a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with the Trust’s values and safeguarding policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience as a Principal or Executive Principal in primary and/or secondary education.
- Demonstrated success in raising pupil attainment and improving educational outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of all phases of education from age 3 to 19.
- Commitment to the International Baccalaureate curriculum.
- Experience in working within a multi-academy trust or similar organization.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
Preferred
- Experience with digital learning strategies and technologies.
- Background in cross-phase leadership or collaboration.
- Familiarity with the Vision 2030 framework and its goals.
- Experience in managing large-scale educational initiatives.
