Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Health and Social Care Department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning

  • Collaborate with colleagues across the school to support student well-being and personal development

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Health and Social Care
  • Proven leadership experience in an educational setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to student welfare and personal development
  • Experience in curriculum development and delivery

Preferred

  • Experience in a similar role within a secondary school
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies
  • Experience in working with diverse student groups
  • Familiarity with modern teaching methods and technologies
  • Experience in leading professional development for staff
