The Opportunity:

As an Administration Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of a school. This position requires strong organisational, IT, and administrative skills to ensure efficient support for staff, students, and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain school records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support the administration team with day-to-day tasks, including correspondence and data entry.
  • Assist with the coordination of school events, meetings, and communications.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and staff.
  • Maintain and update school databases using Microsoft Office software.
  • Liaise with external organisations and service providers as required.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures at all times.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and documentation as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in an administrative role, with proven organisational and IT skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • GCSE qualifications in Maths and English at Grade 4 (C) or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of educational policies and procedures.
  • Experience with administrative software beyond Microsoft Office.
