The Opportunity:

Join a dynamic and ambitious MFL department as a Modern Foreign Languages Teacher. This role offers the opportunity to teach French, Spanish, or German at Key Stage 3, 4, and 5, and to contribute to a collaborative and high-achieving team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach one language to Key Stage 4 (and ideally Key Stage 5)
• Teach a second language to Key Stage 3
• Deliver high-quality instruction with a focus on clarity and student engagement
• Support student progress through effective assessment and feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop departmental strategies and resources
• Participate in professional development and training initiatives
• Maintain a consistent and professional approach to teaching and learning
• Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in Modern Foreign Languages
• Strong subject knowledge in French, Spanish, or German
• Experience teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4
• Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred

• Experience teaching at Key Stage 5
• Familiarity with Edexcel and AQA specifications
• Experience with curriculum development and assessment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for language learning and cultural awareness
