The Opportunity:

A school is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated RE Teacher to join its team and support students in Key Stages 3 and 4. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a school that is consistently improving student outcomes and delivering excellent results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality RE lessons that inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that reflects the school’s values and promotes student progress.
  • Monitor and assess student performance regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning and development.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the quality of teaching and learning across the school.
  • Support the school’s mission to ensure every student feels valued and empowered to reach their full potential.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to continue growing as an educator.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events that promote a positive learning environment.
  • Maintain strong communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant RE experience.
  • Strong subject knowledge in RE.
  • Proven ability to deliver outstanding outcomes for students.
  • Experience of teaching Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Commitment to the school’s values of respect, equality, honesty, and community.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience of working within a multi-academy trust.
  • Experience with pastoral care or student support.
  • Experience with curriculum development and innovation in RE.
  • Experience with teaching in a large, all-through school setting.
