Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor pupil attendance data to ensure compliance with school and statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on attendance and admissions processes.
- Support the admissions process, including handling applications and liaising with prospective students and parents.
- Analyze attendance trends and provide insights to help improve student outcomes.
- Work closely with teaching and support staff to ensure a coordinated approach to attendance and student engagement.
- Ensure all admissions procedures are followed in line with school policies and legal requirements.
- Contribute to the development of strategies to improve attendance and student retention.
- Assist with the preparation of reports and data for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant qualifications and A* - C GCSE in English or equivalent.
- Fluency in spoken English, as this is an essential requirement for the role.
- Experience in managing attendance and admissions processes.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience in an educational setting, particularly within a school or college environment.
- Knowledge of school admissions policies and procedures.
- Experience with data management and reporting systems.
- Understanding of the importance of attendance in student achievement and progression.
