The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor pupil attendance data to ensure compliance with school and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on attendance and admissions processes.
  • Support the admissions process, including handling applications and liaising with prospective students and parents.
  • Analyze attendance trends and provide insights to help improve student outcomes.
  • Work closely with teaching and support staff to ensure a coordinated approach to attendance and student engagement.
  • Ensure all admissions procedures are followed in line with school policies and legal requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of strategies to improve attendance and student retention.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and data for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant qualifications and A* - C GCSE in English or equivalent.
  • Fluency in spoken English, as this is an essential requirement for the role.
  • Experience in managing attendance and admissions processes.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in an educational setting, particularly within a school or college environment.
  • Knowledge of school admissions policies and procedures.
  • Experience with data management and reporting systems.
  • Understanding of the importance of attendance in student achievement and progression.
