Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the school’s pastoral, inclusion, and personal development strategies.
  • Support the Principal in delivering high standards of education and leadership across the school.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive school environment that promotes student well-being and personal growth.
  • Work closely with staff to ensure consistent and effective pastoral care for all students.
  • Implement and monitor policies that support inclusion, diversity, and student development.
  • Collaborate with external partners to enhance opportunities for students and staff.
  • Ensure that all initiatives align with the school’s mission and values.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to teachers and support staff in pastoral and personal development areas.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Proven experience in senior leadership and management within a school setting.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering outstanding attainment and achievement.
  • Strong commitment to the school's values and mission.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in pastoral care and student well-being.
  • Background in inclusion and diversity initiatives.
  • Leadership experience in a faith-based or multi-faith environment.
  • Experience with leadership development programmes.
