Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor student attendance records accurately and efficiently.
  • Support the school in implementing strategies to improve attendance and reduce absenteeism.
  • Communicate with parents, teachers, and students to address attendance-related concerns.
  • Maintain detailed and up-to-date records using school management systems and MS Office software.
  • Collaborate with the business support team to ensure consistent and effective attendance management practices.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on attendance trends to senior staff.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of attendance improvement initiatives.
  • Support the school’s leadership and academic goals through proactive and professional service.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 9-4/A*-C.
  • Experience of working in an administrative setting.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Experience with attendance management systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of leadership programs or initiatives in education.
