The Opportunity:

As a Business Manager, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding learning environment by providing exceptional business support to pupils, teachers, and stakeholders. This is a vital position that supports the school’s mission to inspire young people and drive educational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee financial, HR, business, and premises operations to ensure smooth school functioning.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection legislation and other regulatory requirements.
  • Support the delivery of high-quality educational services through efficient business operations.
  • Implement and monitor ICT systems to improve administrative efficiency.
  • Coordinate and manage office operations in line with best practices and school policies.
  • Provide strategic support to senior leadership to drive continuous improvement.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of school events and initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 9-4/A*-C.
  • Proven experience in management within a public or private sector setting.
  • Experience in financial, HR, business, and/or premises operations.
  • Strong knowledge of ICT administration systems.
  • Understanding of data protection legislative requirements.

Preferred

  • Experience in education or school settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Leadership experience or interest in leadership development.
  • Experience in a school or multi-academy trust environment.
