The Opportunity:
As an Admissions Officer, you will play a key role in managing the admissions process for a school, ensuring a positive experience for students and their families. This role requires a high level of professionalism and strong communication skills, working closely with parents, colleagues, and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the admissions process efficiently and effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service to prospective students and their families.
- Liaise with senior leadership teams, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with admissions policies and procedures.
- Support the school in maintaining a high standard of service and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Local Authority and other relevant parties.
- Maintain accurate records and communication with applicants throughout the admissions process.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of admissions practices and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in an admissions or customer service role.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
Preferred
- Experience in the education sector, preferably within a school environment.
- Knowledge of admissions policies and procedures.
- Experience with educational software or databases.
- Flexibility to work a part-time schedule, including 2.5 days per week.
