The Opportunity:

As an Admissions Officer, you will play a key role in managing the admissions process for a school, ensuring a positive experience for students and their families. This role requires a high level of professionalism and strong communication skills, working closely with parents, colleagues, and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the admissions process efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide excellent customer service to prospective students and their families.
  • Liaise with senior leadership teams, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with admissions policies and procedures.
  • Support the school in maintaining a high standard of service and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Local Authority and other relevant parties.
  • Maintain accurate records and communication with applicants throughout the admissions process.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of admissions practices and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in an admissions or customer service role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

Preferred

  • Experience in the education sector, preferably within a school environment.
  • Knowledge of admissions policies and procedures.
  • Experience with educational software or databases.
  • Flexibility to work a part-time schedule, including 2.5 days per week.
