The Opportunity:

As an Admissions Officer - Sixth Form and Senior School, you will play a key role in managing admissions for the Sixth Form and non-standard entry points within the Senior School. You will provide exceptional support to prospective families, ensuring a positive and inclusive experience throughout the application process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the admissions process for the Sixth Form and Occasional Places within the Senior School.
  • Provide clear and professional guidance to prospective families throughout the application journey.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain and improve customer service standards across the school.
  • Ensure all communications are accurate, timely, and reflect the school’s values and ethos.
  • Support the development and implementation of new technologies to enhance the admissions process.
  • Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with all admissions policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the admissions strategy and outreach initiatives.
  • Represent the school at open days, virtual events, and other outreach activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • High level of digital literacy and willingness to adopt new technologies.
  • A proactive, flexible and can-do attitude.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in school admissions or similar role.
  • Knowledge of the UK education system and admissions processes.
  • Experience with managing non-standard entry applications.
  • Familiarity with educational software and CRM systems.
