As a Porter Driver, you will play a key role in maintaining the smooth operation of a historic North London campus. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of vehicles and transportation services across the campus.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and order in all areas of the school.
  • Assist with the movement of staff, pupils, and visitors across the campus.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
  • Support the Porter team in delivering a welcoming and professional service to all members of the school community.
  • Follow all health and safety protocols at all times.
  • Assist with the coordination of deliveries and other logistical needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of all vehicle and transportation-related activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if required.

Preferred

  • Experience with school transport systems or vehicle maintenance.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in an educational environment.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role.
  • Familiarity with the use of transport management software.
