The Opportunity:
As an Admissions Registrar, you will be central to managing the admissions process for the Junior School, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for families. You will play a key role in maintaining the school’s high standards of customer service and organisational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full admissions process, from initial contact through to the first day at school.
- Coordinate and deliver events such as Open Mornings, Taster Days, and Welcome Evenings.
- Oversee the Road to Seniors programme for Years 4–6, ensuring smooth communication and transition into Year 7.
- Maintain and manage the Junior Admissions calendar with precision and efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with families throughout the admissions journey.
- Liaise with Senior School colleagues to support student transitions.
- Use management information systems such as SIMS or iSAMS to manage data and reports.
- Ensure all administrative tasks are completed to tight deadlines and with a high standard of accuracy.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in independent school admissions.
- Excellent organisational, administrative, and communication skills.
- Strong ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in ICT, including experience with SIMS or iSAMS, and in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills, with the ability to build relationships with families and colleagues.
Preferred
- Experience with the Road to Seniors programme or similar transition initiatives.
- Knowledge of the admissions process in independent schools.
- Experience in managing events and calendars for educational institutions.
