- Foster a positive departmental culture that encourages student engagement and improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Strong subject knowledge in English and a passion for teaching.
- Proven experience in leading a department and delivering strategic direction.
- Commitment to promoting high standards of literacy and academic excellence.
- Ability to use data and evidence to shape teaching and improve outcomes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in curriculum design and student assessment.
Preferred
- Experience in leading a large or high-performing department.
