The Opportunity:

As an Alumni and Fundraising Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the school’s mission by building and maintaining relationships with alumni and major donors. This is a vital position that contributes directly to the long-term success and growth of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase alumni engagement and fundraising through individual giving and major donors.
  • Cultivate and steward relationships with senior stakeholders, alumni, and other key supporters.
  • Coordinate events and initiatives that strengthen the school’s connection with its alumni community.
  • Provide expert guidance on effective fundraising practices and donor stewardship.
  • Collaborate with the school’s leadership team to align fundraising goals with the school’s strategic vision.
  • Monitor and report on fundraising performance and donor activity.
  • Support the school in promoting its mission and achievements to external audiences.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience in fundraising through individual giving and major donors.
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate and steward major donors and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of effective fundraising practices and donor stewardship.
  • Experience in alumni relations and community engagement strategies.

Preferred

  • Experience working within the education sector or with charitable organizations.
  • Knowledge of donor management software and fundraising platforms.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-term relationships.
