Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons that engage and challenge students at all levels.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that promote a love of learning and critical thinking.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the overall teaching and learning experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience of teaching to GCSE standard in Computer Science.
  • A proven track record of delivering outstanding attainment and achievement in Computer Science.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred

  • Experience of innovation and creativity in teaching Computer Science.
  • Experience in using technology to enhance learning and engagement.
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
  • Experience in working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting.
