  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
  • Engage with parents and the wider community to promote the value of History education.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience of delivering high-quality teaching at GCSE standard.
  • Demonstrable ability to raise pupil outcomes and drive academic achievement.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience of working in a school with a leadership specialism.
  • Experience of developing and leading curriculum innovation.
  • Experience of working with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience of mentoring or supporting other teachers.
