The Opportunity:

A Teacher of Maths 0.6 FTE is needed to join a dynamic team of specialist teachers. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student learning and development across KS3 and KS4, with the added advantage of being able to teach KS5.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to teach Key Stage 5 as an added advantage.
  • Support the development of student reasoning, resilience, and resourcefulness in learning.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a supportive and innovative learning environment.
  • Participate in a wide range of enrichment activities and school events.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and utilise online resources to enhance teaching practice.
  • Contribute to the school’s mission of fostering a positive, well-rounded educational experience for all students.
  • Maintain a strong focus on student well-being and support the school’s community initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Maths education.
  • Ability to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Commitment to student well-being and innovative teaching practices.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching Key Stage 5.
  • Experience with continuous professional development and online learning resources.
  • Background in a school with an Outstanding Ofsted rating.
  • Involvement in enrichment and community-based activities.
