The Opportunity:
A Teacher of Maths 0.6 FTE is needed to join a dynamic team of specialist teachers. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student learning and development across KS3 and KS4, with the added advantage of being able to teach KS5.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to teach Key Stage 5 as an added advantage.
- Support the development of student reasoning, resilience, and resourcefulness in learning.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a supportive and innovative learning environment.
- Participate in a wide range of enrichment activities and school events.
- Engage in continuous professional development and utilise online resources to enhance teaching practice.
- Contribute to the school’s mission of fostering a positive, well-rounded educational experience for all students.
- Maintain a strong focus on student well-being and support the school’s community initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Maths education.
- Ability to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Commitment to student well-being and innovative teaching practices.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
Preferred
- Experience teaching Key Stage 5.
- Experience with continuous professional development and online learning resources.
- Background in a school with an Outstanding Ofsted rating.
- Involvement in enrichment and community-based activities.
