The Opportunity:
Join a dynamic Art & Design Department and make a meaningful impact on students' learning and development. As an Art & Design Teacher, you will inspire creativity and deliver high-quality lessons across KS3, 4, and 5.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, plan and deliver effective and high-quality learning experiences to all students
- Teach Art, Textiles and Photography at key stages 3, 4 and 5
- Support students through a range of extra-curricular opportunities
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Art & Design curriculum
- Promote a culture of creativity, innovation and student engagement
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement
- Contribute to the wider school community through pastoral and professional responsibilities
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Art & Design
- Ability to deliver high-quality lessons to students of all abilities
- Commitment to student success and professional development
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Preferred
- Experience with KS3, 4 and 5 curriculum delivery
- Background in extra-curricular activities or student leadership
- Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and technology
