The Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Art Teacher to join our dedicated team and help students achieve excellence in Art across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students through creative and impactful teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Art lessons using a knowledge-rich curriculum and Explicit Direction Instruction model.
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in Art.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the Art curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Support the school’s mission to provide an inclusive and aspirational learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and improve student outcomes.
  • Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment for students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress effectively.
  • Engage with students and parents to support their learning and development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Art education.
  • Experience teaching Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Strong knowledge of Art curriculum and teaching methods.
  • Commitment to student wellbeing and inclusive education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with GCSE Art delivery.
  • Familiarity with Explicit Direction Instruction model.
  • Experience in developing and leading extracurricular Art activities.
  • Strong record of student achievement and engagement.
