Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Art and Photography at both GCSE and A Level.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that encourage creativity and critical thinking.
• Support students in developing their artistic skills and preparing for examinations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Art and Photography curriculum.
• Organise and lead trips to exhibitions and galleries to enrich students’ learning experiences.
• Provide pastoral support and guidance to students where appropriate.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
• Work closely with technicians and other staff to ensure the effective use of resources.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Art and/or Photography.
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching Art and Photography.
• Experience of teaching at both GCSE and A Level.
• Ability to manage a classroom effectively and inspire student engagement.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

• Experience of working in a large, successful school setting.
• Familiarity with using interactive teaching technologies.
• Experience of leading extra-curricular activities or trips.
• Experience with curriculum development and innovation in Art and Photography.
