Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Business Studies lessons to GCSE and BTEC students.
  • Support student progress and attainment across all key stages.
  • Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching resources.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of the curriculum.
  • Provide pastoral support and mentorship to students where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance departmental performance.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
  • Monitor and assess student performance to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QLTS).
  • Proven experience in teaching Business Studies at secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Business Studies.
  • Commitment to student progress and achievement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching GCSE and BTEC Business qualifications.
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
  • Previous leadership or mentoring experience.
  • Experience in working with diverse student groups.
