Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging art lessons that encourage creativity and self-expression
  • Develop and implement inclusive and innovative teaching strategies
  • Manage and motivate a diverse group of students in a positive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school’s art curriculum and extracurricular programs
  • Support the holistic development of students through creative and expressive learning
  • Stay up to date with current trends and techniques in art and design education
  • Encourage student participation in art exhibitions and competitions
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them reach their full potential

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A passion for art and creative education
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A commitment to student success and holistic development

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching art at a secondary level
  • Experience with inclusive and differentiated teaching methods
  • Familiarity with digital art tools and software
  • Experience with extracurricular art programs or student competitions
