Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging art lessons that encourage creativity and self-expression
- Develop and implement inclusive and innovative teaching strategies
- Manage and motivate a diverse group of students in a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school’s art curriculum and extracurricular programs
- Support the holistic development of students through creative and expressive learning
- Stay up to date with current trends and techniques in art and design education
- Encourage student participation in art exhibitions and competitions
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them reach their full potential
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A passion for art and creative education
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A commitment to student success and holistic development
Preferred
- Experience in teaching art at a secondary level
- Experience with inclusive and differentiated teaching methods
- Familiarity with digital art tools and software
- Experience with extracurricular art programs or student competitions
