The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach KS3 Science and KS4 Chemistry in line with school and departmental expectations.
- Plan, prepare, and evaluate lessons according to departmental schemes of work and school policies.
- Contribute to the development and review of schemes of work across KS3 and KS4.
- Support the creation of a departmental bank of teaching resources that are inclusive and accessible.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support departmental goals.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, upholding high expectations for behaviour and learning.
- Participate in the planning and delivery of enrichment activities, including clubs and educational trips.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Science.
- Experience teaching KS3 Science and KS4 Chemistry.
- Strong understanding of curriculum planning and delivery.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Commitment to student progress and pastoral care.
Preferred
- Experience with assessment and marking policies.
- Familiarity with safeguarding procedures.
- Experience in developing and delivering enrichment activities.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
