Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging Art lessons across Key Stage 3, with the potential to teach across all key stages.
- Encourage creativity, confidence, and artistic exploration in students of all abilities.
- Implement innovative teaching strategies and contribute to the ongoing development of the Art department.
- Support students in building strong foundational skills in drawing, colour theory, and art history.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide a well-rounded and progressive curriculum.
- Assess and provide constructive feedback to students to help them achieve their full potential.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and mutual support.
- Stay up to date with current trends and developments in Art education.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Art education.
- Ability to teach Art to GCE A2 Level.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to raising standards and inspiring students.
- Experience in developing and delivering creative and engaging lessons.
Preferred
- Experience with Key Stage 3 and A-Level Art curriculum.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Experience in using digital tools and resources in Art education.
- Passion for fostering creativity and student confidence.
- Background in a school undergoing transformation or expansion.
