The Opportunity:

As a Senior Network Support Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining and supporting the school’s IT infrastructure across multiple sites. This is a vital position that ensures seamless technology use for staff and students, enabling learning and administrative success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the school’s network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Provide technical support to staff and students across both campuses, resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with the Network Manager to implement and monitor IT systems and security protocols.
  • Conduct regular system audits and updates to ensure compliance with industry standards and school policies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems, minimizing downtime and disruption.
  • Document all IT processes, configurations, and incidents for reference and continuous improvement.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in network support to enhance service delivery.
  • Support the rollout of new IT initiatives and training programs for staff and students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Level 3 Diploma (or equivalent) in IT or related field.
  • Proven experience in a network support or IT environment.
  • Strong knowledge of network hardware, software, and security systems.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with managing IT infrastructure across multiple locations.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based systems and remote support tools.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards.
  • Experience in educational or school environments.
