Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Art Department by preparing and maintaining resources, equipment, and materials
• Assist in the planning and delivery of art and design lessons
• Provide guidance and support to students during practical art sessions
• Collaborate with art teachers to ensure a safe and stimulating learning environment
• Maintain accurate records and inventory of art supplies and equipment
• Promote creativity and innovation in art education
• Contribute to the development of art-related extracurricular activities
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in all art-related activities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A background in Art and Design
• Experience of working with young people
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team using own initiative
• Strong communication skills with students, staff, and parents
• Confidence and good working knowledge of ICT

Preferred

• Experience in a school or educational setting
• Knowledge of art techniques and materials
• Experience in supporting teaching and learning in art
