The Opportunity:

As an Art Tutor Graduate Assistant, you will support the school’s arts program by delivering lessons, leading small groups, and collaborating with teachers to create engaging and impactful learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver high-quality art lessons to students across different age groups.
• Work closely with class teachers to develop and implement creative curriculum content.
• Support and lead after-school art, music, and sport clubs for students.
• Assist with supervision of boarders during evening activities and overnight duties.
• Help manage prep, free time, and lights out for boarders in a supportive and structured manner.
• Participate in school events and contribute to the broader school community.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
• Collaborate with other staff to ensure a cohesive and inspiring educational experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A recent graduate with a degree in Art or a related field.
• Demonstrated passion for art and education.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

• Experience in teaching or tutoring.
• Familiarity with art techniques and materials.
• Experience working with young people in a school or educational setting.
• Knowledge of pastoral care and student supervision.
