The Opportunity:

As an Assistant Head of School, you will play a key role in driving the school's vision and supporting its mission to provide a high-quality education for students aged 4 to 19. This is an opportunity to lead by example and make a meaningful impact on the school's future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the development of teaching and learning across the school
  • Work collaboratively with the leadership team to implement strategic priorities
  • Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes student and staff wellbeing
  • Provide guidance and support to staff across all phases of education
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning to ensure consistent standards
  • Represent the school at various events and meetings
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the school’s policies and procedures
  • Support the Head of School in managing the school’s day-to-day operations

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in an educational setting
  • Strong track record in teaching and learning with a focus on student achievement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and take on strategic responsibilities
  • Commitment to the school’s values of ambition, responsibility, and excellence
  • Experience in managing and supporting staff across multiple phases of education

Preferred

  • Experience in an all-through school setting
  • Familiarity with safeguarding and pastoral care procedures
  • Experience in curriculum development and innovation
  • Background in school improvement and leadership development
