As an Assistant Head of School, you will play a key role in driving the school's vision and supporting its mission to provide a high-quality education for students aged 4 to 19. This is an opportunity to lead by example and make a meaningful impact on the school's future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the development of teaching and learning across the school
- Work collaboratively with the leadership team to implement strategic priorities
- Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes student and staff wellbeing
- Provide guidance and support to staff across all phases of education
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning to ensure consistent standards
- Represent the school at various events and meetings
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the school’s policies and procedures
- Support the Head of School in managing the school’s day-to-day operations
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven leadership experience in an educational setting
- Strong track record in teaching and learning with a focus on student achievement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and take on strategic responsibilities
- Commitment to the school’s values of ambition, responsibility, and excellence
- Experience in managing and supporting staff across multiple phases of education
Preferred
- Experience in an all-through school setting
- Familiarity with safeguarding and pastoral care procedures
- Experience in curriculum development and innovation
- Background in school improvement and leadership development
