Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement effective teaching strategies and activities.
  • Monitor and support the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child.
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents.
  • Participate in staff development and professional learning opportunities.
  • Promote a strong sense of community and collaboration within the school.
  • Ensure the classroom is a welcoming and stimulating space for all children.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a valid teaching qualification and experience in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Proven ability to inspire and engage young children in a nurturing and stimulating environment.
  • Strong understanding of child development and early education best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience working in a co-educational independent school setting.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Showcase School initiatives and digital innovation in education.
  • Previous involvement in co-curricular activities or extracurricular programmes.
  • Experience with teaching English as a Second Language (ESOL) or bilingual education.
