Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Headteacher in strategic leadership, curriculum development, and staff management.
  • Lead and manage key areas of school operations, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Develop and implement policies that align with the school’s mission and the Trust’s values.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes student well-being and staff engagement.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders across the Trust to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Monitor and evaluate academic outcomes, ensuring all students achieve at least national norms.
  • Promote a rich co-curricular programme that supports student development and school community engagement.
  • Provide professional development opportunities for staff, supporting their growth and retention.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within education.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
  • Strong track record in driving academic outcomes and student achievement.
  • Experience in curriculum development and school improvement strategies.
  • Commitment to the Trust’s mission of empowering students to reach their full potential.

Preferred

  • Experience in a multi-academy trust or similar collaborative environment.
  • Leadership in co-curricular or extra-curricular initiatives.
  • Experience with school leadership development programmes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration and partnership.
