Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management of staff and resources within assigned areas of responsibility.

• Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with a strong track record in leadership within a secondary school setting.
• Proven experience in raising student achievement and driving school improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, students, and parents.
• Strong organisational and management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Commitment to the school’s values and ethos, including a focus on pastoral care and student well-being.

Preferred

• Experience in a senior leadership role, such as Deputy Headteacher or Head of Department.
• Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and the use of digital tools in education.
• Experience in leading or supporting staff development and training initiatives.
• A passion for extra-curricular activities and student engagement beyond the classroom.
