Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of staff through mentoring, training, and professional growth opportunities.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of school initiatives and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Represent the school at internal and external meetings, fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within education.
  • Strong understanding of school management, policy development, and strategic planning.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders, staff, and external partners.

Preferred

  • Experience in a similar role, such as Assistant Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher.
  • Knowledge of inclusive education and strategies to support under-represented groups.
  • Experience with curriculum development and school improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with sustainability and environmental practices in education.
