Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Headteacher in leading and managing the school’s academic and pastoral strategies.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring consistency with the school’s vision and values.
- Monitor and evaluate teaching and learning across the school, providing guidance and support to staff.
- Develop and implement policies that promote student achievement, behavior, and well-being.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development among staff.
- Work closely with the Senior Leadership team to drive the school’s strategic objectives.
- Engage with parents, students, and the wider community to build strong relationships and support the school’s mission.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a secondary school setting.
- A strong background in education management and school leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to the school’s values of Knowledge, Aspiration, and Respect.
- A relevant teaching qualification and leadership experience.
Preferred
- Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational organization.
- A track record of improving student outcomes and school performance.
- Experience in curriculum development and staff training.
- Familiarity with pastoral care and student support systems.
