Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Headteacher in leading and managing the school’s academic and pastoral strategies.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring consistency with the school’s vision and values.
• Monitor and evaluate teaching and learning across the school, providing guidance and support to staff.
• Develop and implement policies that promote student achievement, behavior, and well-being.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development among staff.
• Work closely with the Senior Leadership team to drive the school’s strategic objectives.
• Engage with parents, students, and the wider community to build strong relationships and support the school’s mission.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience in a leadership role within a secondary school setting.
• A strong background in education management and school leadership.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to the school’s values of Knowledge, Aspiration, and Respect.
• A relevant teaching qualification and leadership experience.

Preferred

• Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational organization.
• A track record of improving student outcomes and school performance.
• Experience in curriculum development and staff training.
• Familiarity with pastoral care and student support systems.
