The Opportunity:

As an Assistant Principal, you will play a key role in supporting the school’s mission to deliver high-quality education and drive continuous improvement. This is a leadership position that shapes the academic and pastoral success of students and contributes to a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the implementation of the school’s strategic vision and improvement plans.
  • Manage and develop teaching and learning across key areas of the school.
  • Oversee pastoral care and student welfare initiatives.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to ensure consistent standards and policies.
  • Monitor and evaluate academic performance and progress across the school.
  • Support the professional development of staff through coaching and training.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and high expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of school operations, curriculum development, and staff management.
  • Relevant qualifications in education leadership or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in driving improvement and achieving high academic outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in working with students with special educational needs.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching and learning strategies.
  • Experience in leading a team and managing change effectively.
  • Knowledge of educational policies and best practices in school leadership.
