The Opportunity:
As an Assistant Principal, you will play a key role in supporting the school’s mission to deliver high-quality education and drive continuous improvement. This is a leadership position that shapes the academic and pastoral success of students and contributes to a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the implementation of the school’s strategic vision and improvement plans.
- Manage and develop teaching and learning across key areas of the school.
- Oversee pastoral care and student welfare initiatives.
- Work closely with senior leadership to ensure consistent standards and policies.
- Monitor and evaluate academic performance and progress across the school.
- Support the professional development of staff through coaching and training.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and high expectations.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven leadership experience in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of school operations, curriculum development, and staff management.
- Relevant qualifications in education leadership or equivalent experience.
- Experience in driving improvement and achieving high academic outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in working with students with special educational needs.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching and learning strategies.
- Experience in leading a team and managing change effectively.
- Knowledge of educational policies and best practices in school leadership.
