The Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Assistant Site Manager to support the Site Manager in maintaining the two school sites. This role includes the upkeep and maintenance of the school’s swimming pool and requires a proactive approach to ensure both sites are well-maintained throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of two school sites.
  • Support the Site Manager in managing the school’s swimming pool.
  • Ensure all areas of the school are kept in a clean and safe condition.
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks and report any issues promptly.
  • Work closely with the Bursar and Site Manager to ensure compliance with all safety and maintenance standards.
  • Maintain a welcoming and secure environment for students and staff.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks as required.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with the school’s policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in site management or caretaking.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance.
  • Reliable and punctual with a commitment to working full-time hours.
  • Willingness to work year-round, including during school holidays.

Preferred

  • Experience with swimming pool maintenance.
  • Previous experience in an educational setting.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings and late afternoons.
