The Opportunity:
As an Attendance and Safeguarding Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring student safety and promoting excellent attendance. This is a vital position for someone who wants to make a real difference in the lives of young people and support their academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete and bi-annually renew DSL training as a deputy designated safeguarding lead
- Ensure daily attendance coding is complete and accurate
- Monitor safeguarding record keeping on CPOMs
- Promote and support high levels of attendance
- Support students in achieving their full academic potential
- Promote a positive attendance and punctuality culture
- Ensure consistent communication with parents and carers
- Support a robust culture of accurate attendance and safeguarding record keeping
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in attendance management and safeguarding
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in using attendance and safeguarding systems
- Commitment to student welfare and safety
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational setting
- Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures
- Experience with CPOMs or similar systems
- Experience in a leadership or deputy role
