The Opportunity:

The Development Assistant role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a major fundraising campaign, supporting the transformation of learning environments and engaging with donors and stakeholders across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the marketing department with administrative and fundraising tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of donor interactions and campaign progress.
  • Assist in the coordination of fundraising events and initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with donors, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Contribute to the successful delivery of the STEM Rising Campaign.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and support for campaign activities.
  • Assist with the development and management of donor databases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve campaign goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience in donor engagement or fundraising.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using donor management software and office tools.

Preferred

  • Experience in education or community fundraising.
  • Knowledge of capital campaigns or large-scale fundraising projects.
  • Understanding of donor stewardship and relationship management.
  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
