Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective teaching in automotive body repair, using a range of teaching strategies.
  • Plan and develop learning programmes that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Assess learner progress and create personalised learning targets.
  • Support learners on work experience and in college.
  • Stay up to date with industry developments and incorporate them into teaching.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and industry partners.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Level 3 qualification or relevant NVQ in Vehicle Body Repair (or equivalent).
  • Literacy and Numeracy to at least Level 2.
  • Enthusiastic, resilient, and highly motivated with strong communication skills.
  • Experience in teaching or training within the automotive sector.

Preferred

  • Level 4 Teaching Qualification: Certificate in Education/PGCE/Bachelor of Education.
  • Experience in teaching within further education.
  • Evidence of Continuous Professional Development.
  • Relevant assessment qualifications (IQA/A1/V1).

Compensation & Benefits:
