The Opportunity:

As a Behaviour Support Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment. You will lead the operation of the TOTAL Room, supporting students in reflecting and reintegrating successfully. This role is essential to upholding the school’s values and ensuring a calm, purposeful atmosphere for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the day-to-day operation of the TOTAL Room.
• Support students in reflecting on their behaviour and reintegrating into the school community.
• Collaborate with pastoral teams, teaching staff, and senior leaders to maintain high standards of student conduct.
• Develop and implement behaviour management strategies aligned with the school’s warm/strict ethos.
• Ensure a safe, supportive, and structured environment for students in the TOTAL Room.
• Monitor and report on student progress and outcomes.
• Provide guidance and support to students to help them meet the school’s expectations.
• Work closely with parents and external agencies where necessary.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A strong presence and ability to uphold high expectations consistently and fairly.
• Experience working with young people, ideally in a secondary school setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A calm, resilient, and solution-focused approach under pressure.

Preferred

• Experience managing an inclusion, isolation, or behaviour support room.
• Understanding of behaviour management strategies in line with a warm/strict school ethos.
