Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Biology and Science lessons to students across all key stages.
• Develop and implement engaging, curriculum-focused teaching strategies.
• Assess student progress and use data to inform teaching and learning.
• Support students with additional needs and provide targeted academic assistance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.
• Participate in and lead extra-curricular activities that enrich the student experience.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians through regular reports and meetings.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A recognised degree in Science from an accredited university, along with a PGCE, QTS, or other internationally recognised teaching qualification.
• At least three years of experience teaching Science and Biology across key stages 3 to 5.
• Proven success in delivering I/GCSE and A Level qualifications.
• Strong classroom management and assessment skills with experience in using data to improve learning outcomes.
• Experience working with students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
• Commitment to professional development and collaboration with colleagues.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and Office 365 products.

Preferred

• Experience with SIMS or other school management systems.
• Recent training in Safeguarding and Child Protection.
• Involvement in extra-curricular activities and leadership roles.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary ranging from CI$55,000 to CI$68,500 per annum, tax-free.
