The Opportunity:
A school is seeking an EYFS Teacher with Middle Lead Responsibility to deliver high-quality, child-centred learning for young learners. This role offers the opportunity to lead and shape provision across a three-class year group, while contributing to a dynamic and innovative school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a broad, balanced, inquiry-based EYFS curriculum aligned with the UK Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and Cayman Islands Early Years Inspection Framework.
- Lead and develop academic and pastoral provision across three EYFS classes using a continuous provision model.
- Serve as Year Group Lead, mentoring colleagues and ensuring consistently high standards of teaching and learning.
- Contribute to whole-school improvement through middle leadership responsibilities and collaboration with colleagues.
- Design and maintain stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environments that encourage curiosity and independence.
- Undertake ongoing assessment aligned with the Development Matters framework and school policies.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that meets the needs of all learners.
- Actively participate in extra-curricular activities and school events.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject and an internationally recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, BEd, HDipEd).
- Minimum of three years’ current experience teaching a British-based curriculum.
- At least one year of previous middle leadership experience.
- Current knowledge and experience of teaching the revised EYFS 2014 and the Development Matters framework.
- Familiarity with the Cayman Islands Early Years Inspection Framework (2024).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proficient in using Management Information Systems (SIMS) and Microsoft Office products.

- Experience in a multicultural international school environment.
- Proven ability to provide adapted learning opportunities for diverse learners.
- Strong commitment to the Christian ethos of the school.

- Competitive salary range of CI$51,950.00 – CI$71,950.00 per annum.
