The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Physics and Science across KS3 and KS4–5, with a focus on I/GCSE and A Level examination success.
- Model excellent classroom practice and utilise assessment to improve learning outcomes.
- Support students, including those with SEND, through targeted interventions and individual progress tracking.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and professional learning initiatives.
- Lead and participate in a wide range of extra-curricular activities that enhance student engagement and learning.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents through reports and meetings.
- Uphold the school’s Catholic ethos and values in all aspects of teaching and student interaction.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding and child protection policies and practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A recognised degree in Science from an accredited university.
- A PGCE, QTS, or other internationally recognised teaching qualification.
- At least three years’ experience teaching Science and Physics at KS3 and KS4–5.
- Proven track record of I/GCSE and A Level examination success.
- Experience in using assessment data to improve learning outcomes.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office/Office 365 products.
- Recent, relevant safeguarding and child protection training.
- Commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of the school.
Preferred
- Experience with SIMS (school information management system).
- Experience in leading or participating in extra-curricular activities.
- Experience in working with students with special educational needs.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary ranging from CI$55,000 - CI$68,500 per annum, tax-free.
