Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Religious Education and History across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, including IGCSE and A-level qualifications.
- Deliver engaging lessons that promote critical thinking and creativity.
- Develop and implement individual learning plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Support and participate in a wide range of school-related activities and events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.
- Ensure a positive, inclusive classroom environment that reflects the school’s Christian ethos.
- Stay up to date with the British National Curriculum and integrate it effectively into lesson planning.
- Provide regular feedback to students and maintain accurate records of academic progress.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A degree in Religious Education or History.
- An internationally recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Bachelor of Education, or H.Dip.Ed).
- Minimum of three years’ recent experience teaching History and Religious Studies at Key Stage 3, IGCSE, and A-level.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Full IT literacy.
- Commitment to the Christian ethos of the school.
Preferred
- Willingness and ability to teach additional subjects, such as Geography.
- Experience in a multicultural international school environment.
- Experience with character-based learning and individual learning plans.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of CI$50,700.00 – CI$69,950.00 per annum.
