The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Biology lessons at KS3, KS4, and KS5, with a focus on A-Level teaching.
- Support the school’s ethos by participating in extra-curricular activities and contributing to the broader school community.
- Utilize digital technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain and raise academic standards.
- Develop and implement innovative and flexible curricula that meet the needs of all students.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of Science.
- Engage in professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of Science education.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized and inclusive teaching practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Science at KS3, KS4, and KS5.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality lessons and raise student achievement.
- Commitment to the school’s ethos and values, including a focus on whole-child education.
- Experience working in a co-ordinated education model, where boys and girls are taught separately but participate together in co-curricular activities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience with A-Level Biology teaching.
- Familiarity with digital tools and resources used in Science education.
- Previous involvement in extra-curricular activities or leadership roles within a school setting.
- Experience in a non-selective school environment.
