Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative Science lessons at KS3, KS4, and KS5.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Science curriculum.
  • Participate actively in the school’s extra-curricular and co-curricular programmes.
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through a well-rounded educational experience.
  • Utilise digital technology to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain and improve the quality of Science education.
  • Engage in professional development and training opportunities.
  • Uphold and promote the school’s ethos and values.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Science for the appropriate age range.
  • Experience teaching Science at KS3, KS4, and KS5.
  • Ability to deliver consistently high-quality lessons.
  • Commitment to the school’s ethos and values.
  • Willingness to participate in the school’s extra-curricular programme.

Preferred

  • Experience with digital technology in teaching and learning.
  • Background in an independent or innovative educational setting.
  • Experience in a co-ordinated education environment.
