The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Mathematics Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive team at our Senior School and Sixth Form. This role is ideal for a passionate educator committed to delivering high-quality lessons and inspiring students. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student achievement and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons to students across KS3 through to KS5, including A-Level.
  • Utilise innovative and flexible teaching methods to enhance student learning and achievement.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of a stimulating and challenging Mathematics curriculum.
  • Participate actively in the school’s extra-curricular programme and wider school life.
  • Support the school’s mission to educate the whole child through a balanced and holistic approach.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve teaching standards.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning and development.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and success.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the appropriate age range.
  • Proven experience teaching Mathematics at KS3 through to KS5, including A-Level.
  • Strong knowledge of current teaching and learning methodologies in Mathematics.
  • Commitment to raising standards and inspiring students through passionate teaching.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the school’s extra-curricular programme.

Preferred

  • Experience with an independent or innovative curriculum.
  • Background in professional development and training.
  • Experience in developing and delivering a broad and balanced curriculum.
  • Familiarity with co-curricular activities and student leadership opportunities.
