The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Mathematics Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive team at our Senior School and Sixth Form. This role is ideal for a passionate educator committed to delivering high-quality lessons and inspiring students. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student achievement and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons to students across KS3 through to KS5, including A-Level.
- Utilise innovative and flexible teaching methods to enhance student learning and achievement.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of a stimulating and challenging Mathematics curriculum.
- Participate actively in the school’s extra-curricular programme and wider school life.
- Support the school’s mission to educate the whole child through a balanced and holistic approach.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve teaching standards.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning and development.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and success.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the appropriate age range.
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics at KS3 through to KS5, including A-Level.
- Strong knowledge of current teaching and learning methodologies in Mathematics.
- Commitment to raising standards and inspiring students through passionate teaching.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the school’s extra-curricular programme.
Preferred
- Experience with an independent or innovative curriculum.
- Background in professional development and training.
- Experience in developing and delivering a broad and balanced curriculum.
- Familiarity with co-curricular activities and student leadership opportunities.
