Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Geography lessons to students at KS3 through to KS5.
• Utilise an innovative and flexible curriculum to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
• Contribute to the school’s extra-curricular programme and wider school life.
• Support the development of students’ knowledge and skills in Geography and related subjects such as Travel and Tourism.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-standard approach to teaching and learning.
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records and assess student progress effectively.
• Encourage a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student well-being and achievement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the appropriate age range.
• Experience teaching Geography at KS3 through to KS5.
• Commitment to raising standards and delivering excellent lessons.
• Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to school life.

Preferred

• Experience teaching Travel and Tourism.
• Knowledge of current theory and practice in teaching and learning.
• Experience with innovative and flexible curriculum delivery.
