Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a high-quality Computer Science curriculum aligned with school and Trust priorities.
- Lead and support a team of teachers to ensure consistent and effective teaching practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the Trust to enhance curriculum development and share best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing targeted support where needed.
- Contribute to the school’s ethos and culture, promoting the virtues of compassion, humility, and service.
- Participate in professional development and leadership training opportunities.
- Work closely with senior leaders to implement school-wide initiatives and strategies.
- Ensure that all teaching and learning activities align with the school’s vision and values.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Computer Science.
- Experience in a leadership or middle leadership role within education.
- Strong classroom teaching experience with a proven track record of student achievement.
- Ability to manage and develop a team of teachers effectively.
- Commitment to the school’s values and ethos, including a multi-faith and virtues-led approach.
Preferred
- Experience in curriculum development and leadership within a multi-academy trust.
- Familiarity with Ofsted standards and best practices in education.
- Experience in promoting student wellbeing and behaviour management.
- Knowledge of teaching and learning strategies that support diverse learners.
- Experience in working within a faith-inspired educational environment.
