The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Business and Humanities Teacher to join our Secondary team in August 2026. This role involves teaching AS Level Business, potentially iGCSE Business, and contributing to the teaching of other Humanities subjects. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach AS Level Business (Edexcel's International A Level in Business, YBS11) to a high standard.
  • Potentially teach iGCSE Business (Edexcel's International GCSE in Business, 4BS1).
  • Contribute to the teaching of other Humanities subjects at Key Stage 3, depending on skills and experience.
  • Deliver engaging and innovative lessons that promote student understanding and achievement.
  • Support the school’s mission to develop responsible, globally minded students.
  • Participate in co-curricular activities and school events.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in a supportive and high-achieving Humanities department.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A PGCE (or equivalent full teaching qualification) and a degree in Business.
  • Experience teaching iGCSE and A Level Business qualifications.
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and working with children.
  • Ability to deliver lessons in line with the British curriculum framework.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching within a UK framework.
  • A creative and innovative approach to teaching and learning.
  • Experience contributing to co-curricular activities and school events.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse and international environment.
